I have recently started a new book and I would have to say anyone wanting to learn more about the evolution of weaponry and tactics leading up to the War Between the States you have to get a copy of this one!! It's called "The Bloody Crucible of Courage: Fighting Methods and Combat Experience of the Civil War" by Brent Nosworthy.
